I entered into my first swap last month on modelhorseblab.com titled: “Rocket’s Rockin’ ATC Swap”. Each “player’ was required to make two ATC/ACEO cards for their mystery partner. We received the partner’s likes and dislikes and if they wanted a deco or realistic card, horse related or open themed. I chose Open theme and I just received these beauties today!

And the backs have designs as well!

They are awesome! I plan to find a nice frame for these guys and hang them in my studio.
It’s hard to see but the edges are gold and the dragon’s dots are gold as well. The butterflies are actually 3D! I’m still waiting on hear how these were made and I’ll update the post when I find out but here’s what I think:
The dragon is painted but I still cant figure out what the actual card is made of.
The butterflies seem to be some sort of collage type method but it’s so nicely executed it’s hard to tell!
ATC’s (Art Trading Cards) or ACEO’s (Art Cards Editions & Originals) are small works of art by various artists that are easy to collect and afford. You can find hundreds of these for sale on eBay, Etsy and the like. These small works of art are the same size as a trading card so they are easily stored, traded, collected or framed, and of course lots of fun to make! I will post my swap entry once my partner receives them (don’t want to spoil the surprise). They’re on their way now and should be arriving soon.
